Sri Lanka's prominent fast bowler Lasith Malinga will return to Sri Lanka after the match against Bangladesh today.

Malinga will return to the country to attend a family funeral, team sources said. He is expected to join the team on June 14, before the match against Australia.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka's fast bowler Nuwan Pradeep Fernando has also been ruled out of cricket for a week due to an injury to his finger.
