Former Western Province Governor Azath Salley will testify before the Parliamentary Select Committee probing the Easter Sunday explosions.

In addition, All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama (ACJU) President Rizwe Mufthi and representatives of the Kattankudy Muslim community will also give evidence before the Commission.

Informed political sources said the sessions of the PSC would begin at 2 PM today.

Meanwhile, President Maithripala Sirisena said he would not convene Cabinet meetings again unless sessions of the Parliamentary Select Committee are suspended.

As the Cabinet refused to accommodate President Sirisena's request last week, Sirisena has not convene the weekly Cabinet meeting today.

He also threatened to boycott all government events in protest of the PSC sessions.
