The Arrival and Departure lobbies at the BIA are re-opened for visitors, the Airport and Aviation Limited announced today.

The airport authorities said two visitors per passenger are now permitted enter the lobbies.

The security measures at the Karunayake International Airport have been relaxed as the country has returned to normalcy after the Easter Sunday attacks.

Following the Easter Sunday attacks, the airport authorities announced that no one other than passengers would be allowed to enter the airport terminal buildings and their luggage will be subjected to thorough security checks.
