The Janatha Vimumthi Peramuna's No-Confidence Motion against the government will be taken up for debate on July 09 and 10, Leader of the House Lakshman Kiriella said.
The decision was arrived at following a party leaders meeting this evening. The No-Confidence Motion is over the security lapses leading to the Easter Sunday attacks.
However, the No-Confidence Motion against ACMC Leader Rishad Bathiudeen is expected to be taken two weeks prior to the NO-Confidence Motion against the government.
Informed political sources said no decision had been made so far on removing the NCM against Bathiudeen from the agenda of Parliament.
All Muslim Cabinet, State and Deputy Ministers, including Bathiudeen and members of his party, resigned from their positions last evening.
