A Joint Opposition delegation led by Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapaksa arrived at Temple Trees this morning for a discussion with Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
Parlimentarians Dinesh Gunawardena, Bandula Gunawardena Udaya Gammanpila and Gamini Lokuge joined the discussion representing the Joint Opposition.
Informed political said the discussion between the two parties centred on the economic fallout of the Easter Sunday attacks.
Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera, Minister Harsha de Silva, Treasury Secretary Dr. R.H.S. Samaratunge, CB Governor Dr. Indrajit Coomarawamy, Senior Deputy Governor of CB Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe, PM's Secretary Saman Ekanayake also attended the meeting representing the government.
