The woman who was arrested by the Hasala Police for wearing a dress with a 'dharma chakra' has been re-remanded until June 03.

However, the arrest sparked a controversy as many argued that the woman was only wearing a wheel of a ship on her clothing, and not a Dharma Chakraya.

The woman, however, could not obtain bail today as the Police had charged her under the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.

Speaking to the media after the arrest, the husband of the woman said they lived in extreme poverty and the woman was completely unaware of what was on her clothing.
