The Party Leaders meeting has ended in Parliament without a final decision on the date of the No-Confidence Motion against ACMC Leader Rishad Bathiudeen.
Party leaders met this morning to make a final decision on the matter, but the meeting saw no outcome, informed political sources said.
They added that the opposition parties pushed for the no-confidence motion to be debated on June 06-07 and hold a vote on the last day of the debate.
However, the ruling party maintained that the No-Confidence motion against Bathiudeen should be debated on June 18 and 19 giving the Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) three weeks time to probe allegations against Bathiudeen.
