Railway Unions Launch Unannounced Two-Hour Strike: Dispute Relating To Land Cause For Strike


Several trade unions including drivers, supervisors and controllers launched an unannounced strike that lasted two hours this afternoon.


The strike began at 2pm and ended at 4pm.


The cause for the strike was a land issue, representatives of the railway trade unions said.


The public was inconvenienced as a result of this two-hour strike called by the unions.
