Former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa and six others have been notified to appear before the Colombo Magistrate's Court on September 07 over the construction of the D.A. Rajapaksa Museum in Hambantota. 

The Police Financial Crimes Investigations Division (FCID) has filed a report with the Attorney General's Department on the progress of the investigation into the case. 

The Police FCID investigated if public money had been used when constructing the Museum. 

The former Defence Secretary has already given several statements to the FCID on the matter.
