'Four individuals including the father who fed his baby with an alcoholic beverage was remanded till August 01. 

All of them were residents of the Meegalewa area, in Anuradhapura. 

The video of the incident went viral on social media and drew negative criticism. 

There was a strong public outcry demanding the Police to arrest the father of the infant and the others involved in the incident.
