Sri Lanka's national cricket captain Dinesh Chandimal, Head Coach Chandika Hathurusinghe and Team Manager Asanka Gurusinghe were suspended for two Test matches by the ICC.
The trio was penalized for harming the 'spirit of the game' during the second Test match against West Indies in St. Lucia.
All three of them pleaded guilty for the charge and accordingly the suspension was announced by the ICC this morning.
Suranga Lakmal will captain the Sri Lankan team in Chandimal's absence during the series against South Africa.
Kusal Mendis has been named the Vice Captain of the team.
