Two people have died due to a shooting incident incident at Jampettah Street, Colombo, the Police Media Unit said. 

The deceased are a 58 year old male and a 50 year old female. 

Both of them died upon admission to hospital. 

Two others who were injured in the shootout are currently receiving treatment.
