Ishini Wickremesinghe, a Directress of TNL network, has been appointed the Private Secretary of Media Minister Mangala Samaraweera. 

A transmission centre owned by the TNL network was closed down recently by the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission. 

She is also a niece of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. 

Meanwhile, Sanaraweera's former Private Secretary Ruwan Ferdinandez has been appointed the Senior Advisor to the Media Minister and the Head of Media Operations.
