Hathurusinghe And Asanka Gurusinghe Also Facing ICC Inquiries For Acting In Violation Of 'Spirit Of The Game'

The International Cricket Council has charged Sri Lankan coach Chandika Hathurusinghe and Team Manager Asanka Gurisinghe with acting in violation of the 'spirit of the game.'

This follows Sri Lanka refusing to take to the field on the third day of the second Test match against West Indies in the wake of ball tampering allegation.

Sri Lankan skipper Dinesh Chandimal has already been banned from the third Test match in the tournament over the incident.

Both Hathurusinghe and Gurusinghe protested the 'timing' of the ICC match officials' charge and refused to allow the team to take to the field.
