The hearing of an appeal filed by Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thera was postponed till June 22 by the Homagama Magistrate. 

The hearing was postponed as lawyers representing the Attorney General's Department were not present today. 

Gnanasara Thera was sentenced to a 6 month imprisonment by the Homagama Magistrate for threatening Sandhya Ekneligoda within the courts premises.

The appeal was filed by the monk's lawyers against the sentence.
