Veteran singer and musician Ivor Dennis has passed away, a short while ago. 

A student of the legendary Sunil Santha, Dennis continued the Sunil Santha legacy even after the latter's death. 

He also contributed to several Sinhala movies including 'Bambaru Ewith' as a payback singer. 

He was 86 at the time of his demise. 

Family sources said the singer passed away at his personal residence in Seeduwa, Ja ela.
