Sri Lanka is to sell 25, 000 MT Of Ilmenite at the price of USD 145, 25 Per MT. 

The sale will be executed by Lanka Mineral Sands Institute, a government-owned company that falls under the Ministry of Industries and Commerce.

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the sale of 25,000 tons Ilmenite was by to Rescom Mineral Trading FZE. 

The proposal was made by Industry and Commerce Minister Rishad Bathiudeen.
