The Homagama Magistrates’ Court will deliver its verdict on Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) General Secretary Ven. Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thera today.

Gnanasara Thera was on May 25 found guilty of threatening missing journalist Pradeep Ekneligoda’s wife Sandhya Ekneligoda within the court premises on January 25.

On that occasion, Gnanasara Thera who was in no way connected to the case, stood up and addressed the open court, threatening Sandhya Ekneligoda in the process.

The case was filed against Gnanasara Thera under criminal harassment and intimidation under the Penal Code.
