A man has died after falling off from the Lotus Tower in Colombo, which is still under construction. 

The victim has been identified as a 19 year old worker from Killinochchi. 

Police sources said he had fallen off from the lift shaft of the tower. 

The 1150 ft tower is declared to be open soon by the government.
