The Chillaw Magistrate ordered to arrest UPFA MP Sanath Nishantha a short while ago. 

The Magistrate issued an arrest warrant as the MP failed to appear in court over a court case. 

The MP was previously arrested over an alleged assault on the Arachchikattuwa Divisional Secretary in 2007, while the latter was inspecting a storage facility.
