In an interesting turn of events former Sri Lanka Cricket captain Angelo Mathews and newly appointed Test and ODI captains Upul Tharanga and Dinesh Chandimal are all managed by Charlie Austin.
Charlie Austin was recently the centre of controversy for managing as many as seven players in the current national team.
He is alleged to have micromanaged affairs at Sri Lanka Cricket as a result of his management of that many players in the national outfit.
It is interesting that both the incoming captains and the outgoing captain are managed by the very same Charlie Austin.
Former captain Mathews stepped down from his position following a humiliating series loss to Zimbabwe on Monday.
