More than 350 Officers and Other Rankers serving under the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) on Friday (7) donated their blood to the Blood Bank at Mullaittivu District Hospital following a request, made to the Headquarters. 

The arrangement was organized by the SFHQ-MLT on the instructions of Major General Dampath Fernando, Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittivu after Dr Rajitha Weerawardene, in charge of the Mullaittivu Hospital Blood Bank made a request to the SFHQ-MLT to this effect.

The event was held at Mullaittivu District Hospital Blood Bank premises,. More than 350 Officers and Other Rankers of the SFHQ-MLT, 59 Division, 64 Division, 68 Division, Forward Maintenance Area (FMA) - Mullaittivu and other Units voluntarily came forward to donate their blood to the hospital blood bank.
