Health Ministry statistics highlighted that June was the worst month for Sri Lanka in terms of Dengue outbreak. 

In June, 19309 patients had been diagnosed with Dengue, across the country. 

In May, this year, the figure stood at 15,209. 

Since April, this year, there has been a gradual increase in the number of dengue patients.

Over 220 deaths have been reported so far due to Sri Lanka's dengue outbreak. 

This year has seen the largest number of Dengue patients in Sri Lanka's history.
