The Supreme Court this morning issued an order preventing the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) from disposing garbage at the Muthurajawela garbage dump.

The decision comes in the wake of a petition filed at the Supreme Court by thirty-five residents on June 15, seeking an order to prevent the dumping of garbage at Muthurajawela.
