Five suspects were arrested in connection to the robbery in Ragama on June 26.

On June 26, a van carrying Rs. 7.8 million from one apparel store in Ragama to another in Kadawatha was waylaid by a gang of men who fired at the vehicle and stole the cash.

No one was injured in the attack and Police launched immediate inquires.
