Sri Lankan cricketer Chamari Atapattu set a new world record for scoring the highest percentage team runs during the ODI against Australia.
Atapattu scored an unbeaten 178 while the team scored 257 against Australia in 50 overs.
Atapattu's knock was also the third highest score in women's ODI cricket history.
Atapattu single-handedly scored 69.26 percent of her team’s runs.
This record was previously held by D.L Thomas who represented International Women XI team against India, in 1982.
Thomas, who scored 78 in the match, was responsible for 61.94 percent of her team runs (113).
