The Colombo High Court today granted bail to Hambantota district parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa, Nithya Senani Samaranayake and Sujani Bogollagama who are alleged to have been involved with money laundering amounting to Rs. 30 million through Gowers Corporate Services Ltd.

The three accused were granted bail on a surety of Rs. one million each.

The Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) of the Police began investigation into MP Namal Rajapaksa, Nithya Senani Samaranayake and Sujani Bogollagama and three others, following a complained filed by Voice Against Corruption (VAC) Convener Wasantha Samarasinghe.
