Former South African cricketer Nic Pothas has been appointed interim Head Coach of the Sri Lanka cricket team in Graham Ford’s stead, Sri Lanka Cricket announced today.

Pothas will function as Head Coach for the team’s Zimbabwe and India series.

The former South Africa right-hand batsmen and wicket keeper has taken over 500 catches in 200 first class matches and is an accomplished batsman.
