The Colombo Chief Magistrate issued an interim order today banning two scheduled protests in Colombo.

The protests are for-SAITM and anti-SAITM.

On June 21 protesting students stormed the Health Ministry and refused to leave until they were granted a meeting with the Health Minister Rajitha Senaratne.

Over 95 students were injured in the ensuing clash between the students and the Police and STF.
