Inter University Students’ Federation (IUSF) Convener Lahiru Weerasekera who was arrested this morning for his involvement in the storming of the Ministry of Health on Wednesday, was remanded till July 5 by the Maligakanda Magistrate.

Tampitiye Sugathananda Thera, member of the Inter University Bhikku Federation who was arrested yesterday for his involvement in the clash that saw as many 95 students injured, was also remanded till July 5.
