Police have begun a broad-based investigation into the incident that took place on Wednesday at the Health Ministry.

Police will obtain CCTV footage from the Ministry of Health premises and identify offenders who will be arrested.

On Wednesday, students attached to the Inter University Students’ Federation (IUSF) forcibly entered the Ministry of Health premises and caused damage to the property.

An evaluation on the damage caused to the property is currently underway.
