Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) General Secretary Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thera surrendered to the court through his lawyers this morning.

Two warrants had been previously issued against the hardline monk who was evading arrest after Police set up four teams to arrest him for inciting communal violence.

He is wanted in court over unruly behavior at the Homagama Magistrate Court on January 25th, when the case into the disappearance of journalist Prageeth Eknaligoda was taken up.
