Mirihana Police arrested the main suspect in the shooting that occurred in Piliyandala on May 9, today.

The Criminal Investigation Division of the Mirihana Police arrested the suspect in Medirigiriya.

Ten grammes of heroin were also found in his possession.

The 24-year-old suspect is said to have shot at Police officers attached to the Narcotics Division who were conducting an operation in the area.
