A slight change in the prevailing dry weather is expected during next few days particularly in the Northern and Eastern parts of the country.

Showers can be expected at several places in the Uva, Eastern and Northern provinces and in the Polonnaruwa district.

Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers are expected and the public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
