Hambantota port workers today called off their nine-day Satyagraha and decided to return to work.

They had protested demanding they be made permanent employees of the SLPA.

The Hambantota Port is to become a Public-Private-Partnership company with a Chinese company and Sri Lanka Ports Authority as partners.
