Colombo High Court today issued an open warrant against former LTTE financier Emil Kanthan over the RADA case, as he had been continuously absconding the court.

The case was taken up for hearing against four individuals including former RADA Chairman Tiran Alles.

They are accused of the financial misappropriation of Rs 200 million from funds allocated to Tsunami housing projects in the north, following the devastating Tsunami of 2004.

The case was fixed for next hearing on January 19, 2017.
