Former Eastern Province Chief Minister and TMVP leader Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan aka ‘Pillayan’ has been further remanded.

Batticaloa Magistrate M. Ganesaraja ordered Pillayan along with three others to be held till December 28th.

Pillayan was arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division on the 9th of October 2015 over investigations pertaining to the murder of Former Tamil National Alliance Parliamentarian Joseph Pararajasingham.
