UPFA MP Prasanna Ranatunga said that he has been invited to join the newly formed Sri Lanka Podujana Party but he will take a decision according to the decision of Mahinda Rajapaksa and others.

Speaking to the media after the meeting of the sLFP asana balamandalaya at Minuwangoda, Ranatunga said that the SLFP is fast losing support.

If the current SLFP leadership is not prepared to reconcile, they will have to take a decision on joining the new party, he also said.

The new party will take power in any forthcoming election, Ranatunga also said.
