Attorney at Law and former Kotte Deputy Mayor Madura Vithanage filed a contempt of court case against Lanka E News over 14 incidents where it had reported on judges in allegedly malicious manner.

The petition said that reporting in such a nature was a contempt of the juducial system, and called on action against the Editor of Lanka E News Sandaruwan Senadheera.
