Former Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka Ajith Nivard Cabraal was summoned before the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) today.

He is to be interrogated on an alleged misuse of state funds while he was the Governor of the Central Bank.

Cabraal was the Governor of the bank from 2006 to 2015.
