The Ministry of Finance says the country receives more development assistance from foreign countries under the new administration. The government signed agreements with different parties to obtain more than 1470 million US dollars of the foreign funds for development works in the country. The Chinese government has agreed to provide the highest volume of foreign funds under the bilateral agreements. The Chinese assistance exceeds 77 million US dollars.

The EU has agreed to support under the multi lateral section to support the country with highest funds.
