State Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs, Niroshan Perera says the youth of the country will be included in the development agenda of the government.
He added that the administration has prepared a well devised economic plan in line with the trenching global economy.
More opportunities will be opened for the youth to obtain vocational training. The concepts like youth parliament and Yovun Puraya are in operation. The state minister said that Sri Lanka is in the 31st of the youth ranking of the Commonwealth. He highlighted that the government has allocated 13.5 billion rupees for the development activities in the rural areas. He highlighted that transparent tender procedures are followed by the government.
