Chief Opposition Whip Parliamentarian Anura Kumara Dissanayake who at the budget debate said 1200 vehicles had been used by the Presidential Secretariat during Mahinda Rajapakse regime. He requested the government to disclose the reason behind having large number of vehicles and to reveal how many vehicles have been found out of the total number. Furthermore a large number of staff has served at the Presidential Secretariat at that time. 

The money spent on food by the institution during the months of November and December in year 2014 is around 150 million rupees.
