Colombo Chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya ordered for a psychiatric report on the youth who was arrested for taking photographs of VIPs during the funeral of Pandit W.D. Amaradeva.

The youth's lawyers today said that he is suffering from a mental illness. The camera he used was borrowed from a relative, they also reported.

The youth was remanded further till November 17.

He was arrested during the funeral of Amaradeva when he attempted to get close to the VVIPs including the President.
