National Dengue Control Unit warns of the potential of Dengue prevalence during the next few months due to the prevailing showery weather.
Considering the situation a two-day Dengue Prevention Program will also be held on 10th and 11th November covering the Colombo District according to the directions given by Health Minister Rajitha Senarathne.
This year 44, 822 Dengue patients have been reported so far and most of them have been reported from Colombo, Gampaha, Kandy, Kurunegala, Ratnapura, Kegalle, Jaffna, and Matara Districts.
