No Need For An International War Crimes Investigation In Sri Lanka - President

President Maitripala Sirisena stated that there is no need for an international war crimes investigation in Sri Lanka and the international community had now accepted this setting up of an international war crimes court here was no longer an issue. President stated this at a Sri Lanka Freedom party gathering at Maharagama. President Sirisena declared that the global community believed foreign judges weren’t required here.

He further stated that they had closed that chapter. President Sirisena recollected him reiterating to world leaders that foreign judges could not be allowed in under any circumstances.
