Minister of Regional Development Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka is appointed as the United National Party's (UNP) new chief organizer of Kelaniya electorate.

The appointment letter was handed over by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe at a ceremony held at Sirikotha today.

Prime Minister will be leaving the country to Hong Kong today evening to participate an economic summit.
