Former MP Tiran Alles and two others were remanded till November 10 over the RADA case where they are accused of misappropriation of Rs. 200 million of Tsunami funds.

High Court Judge Kusala Sarojini Weerawardena ordered them to be remanded since the charges fall under the Public Properties Act.

The other two remanded are Saliya Wickramasuriya and Jayantha Dias.

They produced medical records to plead for bail but the AG Department said that they have to peruse the documents. Therefore the suspects were remanded.

The former LTTE financier Emil Kanthan is also accused in the case. However he is not present in court.
