Up country train services were obstructed this morning due to a ground cave in on the tracks between Ihala Kotte and Kadigamuwa railway stations, the Department of Railways (CGR) said.

Train services along the up-country line have been limited to Rambukkana from Colombo.

Heavy rains fell in the area, which may have caused the cave in.
