Bodu Bala Sena General Secretary Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thera alleged that the US Embassy was behind a conspiracy to remove the Head of National Intelligence.

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, Gnanasara Thera said that Prof. Sarath Wijesuriya is attempting to push the government towards this move as part of the plan.

He also alleged that Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera was also part of the government which collaborates with foreign powers.
